Tei-Fu massage balm from Nature’s Sunshine Products


The main ingredient of Tei-fu balm is Gaultheria Procumbens (Golteria sent out) – a plant found in eastern North America. The extract from this plant is known as “Wintergreen oil”.

Golteria sent is characterized by known therapeutic properties. When applied to the skin, it has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic and analgesic effects. Thanks to wintergreen oil, Tei-fu balm is perfect for muscle pain and spasms, rheumatic diseases and osteoporotic.

The ingredients that make Tei-fu a great balm also includementhol and camphor. Menthol is used as a strong flavor that has anesthetic properties and reduces irritation of mucous membranes. Inhaling it gives you freshness. Thanks to its properties, it is an ideal aid in the treatment of runny noses and colds and helps fight muscle pain. The well-known camphor applied to the skin has warming properties, and its structure makes it absorb very quickly and easily. Tei-fu combining camphor with menthol becomes an excellent warming and painkilling mixture.

Tei-fu Balm – Indications for use:


For external use. It is used formuscle and joint pain. The cream applied to the temples and neck relieves headaches. The emollient properties of the cream make the skin smooth.

Tei-Fu massage balm is a unique mixture of essential oils and ingredients known since ancient times skin softening. An ointment for various joint, muscle and head pain, which smoothes the skin and relaxes the muscles.

Key ingredients of Tei-fu massage balm:


The basic ingredients are essential oil,DL-camphor flakes,L-menthol,winter berry oil , clove oil, eucalyptus oil, aloe juice. This combination of oils was developed in China 1,000 years before the Tong Dynasty. The cream has a wonderful scent and penetrates deeply into the skin.

DL-camphora is a ketone obtained from the evergreen camphor tree. This oil is produced by distilling roots, trunks and branches that are over 50 years old. White camphor is colorless or light yellow and has a sharp, nauseating odor. In aromatherapy white camphor is used for pain, inflammation, insect bites, arthritis, muscle pain, rheumatism, bronchitis, cough, colds, runny nose, infections and chills.

Menthol, or L-menthol, is the basic ingredient of peppermint oil. Menthol comes in the form of white crystals or granules. Ointment for various joint pains. Thanks to its anti-itching properties. It is applied to the skin and mucous membranes as a gentle, local analgesic, antiseptic, calming and stimulating agent. Internally, it is used as a remedy to relieve stomach pain.

Basic properties of Tei-fu peppermint oil:

  • stimulates the nervous system,
  • has a toning effect,
  • improves stomach function,
  • has antispasmodic, anti-carcinogenic and analgesic properties

  • regulates the menstrual cycle,
  • is a light stimulant,
  • fights parasites,
  • repels mosquitoes.

After applying peppermint oil to the mucous membranes or rubbing it on the skin, it causes a feeling of coolness and a slight stinging sensation.

Clove oil is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the blooming buds of the spicy clove tree. The purified oil is a colorless or yellowish liquid with a characteristic odor that causes a burning sensation when tasted. Traditionally, this oil is used fortoothache. It is also recommended for skin diseases, improper nutrition, ascariasis and nausea. It is used as a seasoning for dishes. The oil regenerates strength afternervous tensionsg> and hard physical work, has antiviral properties, removes colic, regulates the menstrual cycle. It is not recommended in states of nervous tension, pregnant women, or people allergic to cloves.

Eucalyptus oil is obtained by steam distillation and rectification from fresh leaves and young branches of various eucalyptus species. The oil is colorless or light yellow with a characteristic, aromatic and pungent odor. Traditionally, the oil is used as an antiseptic, diaphoretic and expectorant.

Winter berry oil is obtained from the leaves by soaking and then steam distillation. It is a colorless, light red or light yellow liquid with the characteristic smell and taste of a winter berry. It is used in rheumatic conditions and relieves pain. It has anti-inflammatory properties, is an expectorant, diuretic and astringent. It stimulates menstruation and lactation, and has a stimulating effect on the nervous system.

Aloe (Aloe vera) Aloe juice is traditionally used as a natural cleansing agent to treat burns, cuts and other skin irritations. Aloe penetrates damaged tissue, relieves pain, reduces inflammation and dilates capillaries. Aloe can stimulate collagen synthesis and prevent skin aging. In addition, it is an emollient, moisturizing and bactericidal agent.
